Kemarahan Demokrat paska hengkang dari Koalisi Perbaikan untuk Perubahan (KPP) menurut sejumlah kalangan tak bisa dianggap sebelah mata. Pasalnya pendukung Demokrat terbilang besar dan makin fanatik usai merasa “dizolimi” Anies dan Nasdem.

Di sejumlah daerah baliho yang memaang foto AHY dan Anies dibongkar dan dibuang oleh sejumlah kader Demokrat. Kemarahan, kata sumber, bakal dijadikan trigger untuk memancing militansi kader agar semangat memperjuangkan partai berlambang mercy tersebut.

Ribuan atribut baliho atau poster dukungan Demokrat kepada calon presiden 2024 Anies Baswedan telah dicabut di Nusa Tenggara Barat, Jumat (31/8/2023).

Ketua DPD Partai Demokrat NTB Indra Jaya Usman mengungkapkan, pihaknya telah mencabut baliho yang tersebar di berbagai jalan kota hingga pelosok desa.

“Secara serentak dari Kota Mataram, sampai dengan ujung Bima sana, para kader serentak menurunkan baliho yang mendukung Anies,” kata Iju, sapaan akrab ketua DPD saat menghadiri pelatihan para saksi pemilu 2024, Sabtu (2/9/2023).

Menurut Iju, pencabutan atribut yang mendukung Anies itu bukan karena sikap emosi partai, melainkan sikap wajar setelah mendapatkan informasi Pencapresan Anies berpasangan dengan Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin).

“Saya kira baliho itu sudah tidak relevan lagi fotonya kita pajang di Demokrat. Apa ini sikap emosi? Tentu bukan sikap emosi, tapi ini adalah sikap yang wajib diambil oleh partai Demokrat,” kata Iju.

Iju mengatakan, partainya telah dikhianati dengan sikap Ketua Umum Partai Nasdem Surya Paloh yang secara sepihak menentukan bakal Calon Wakil Presiden yang mendampingi Anies tanpa sepengetahuan Demokrat.

“Kita harus melihat kronologinya, sebenarnya sikap Pak Anies secara lisan dan tulisan meminang mas AHY (Agus Harimurti Yudoyono) sebagai pendamping. Namun setelah ada tikungan tajam, ada pihak yang menikung memasang Anies tanpa diketahui oleh kami. Ya kami merasa dikhianati,” kata Iju.

Disampaikan Iju, kondisi partainya yang sedang menjadi sorotan publik setelah keluar dari Koalisi Perubahan untuk Persatuan (KPP) saat ini akan tetap tunduk dan patuh pada keputusan petinggi partai Demokrat.

“Kita harus mensyukuri apa yang terjadi, karena partai kita itu menandakan bisa menunjukkan bahwa kita sudah keluar dari gelombang yang tidak tentu arah itu. Untuk saat ini kita di daerah menunggu arahan dari Majelis Tinggi partai Demokrat, kita percayakan ke pada mereka,” kata Iju.

Dengan sikap politik yang dihadapinya saat ini, Iju mengungkapkan tidak mengurangi semangat kader di daerah untuk menjalankan agend-agenda kepartaian yang telah terjadwal. “Tidak ada gangguan di daerah, tetap melaksanakan agenda partai. Seperti saat ini kami sedang mengadakan pelatihan calon pelatih saksi TPS,” kata Iju.
