BarisanBerita.com– Mereka, bayi-bayi kecil ini tak pernah meminta untuk dilahirkan. Tapi, ketika mereka tiba di bumi ini, harapannya adalah ada ayah dan ibu yang menjaga. Sayangnya, orang tua mereka menghilang dengan banyak alasan, yang sebenarnya tak lebih dari melepas tanggung jawab. Beruntung ada “rumah” bagi jiwa-jiwa kecil ini yang menjaga mereka hingga tumbuh seharusnya.

“Anakku… Anakku…. Anakku….”

Rois Bawono Hadi, 56, mendekap sambil menyenandungkan sebuah kidung di telinga bayi yang belum genap berusia satu tahun itu. Perlahan kelopak mata bayi tersebut terpejam. Terlelap dalam pelukan kasih sayang ayah asuhnya. Bayi tersebut adalah satu dari 78 penghuni Panti Asuhan Manarul Mabrur di Kota Semarang, Provinsi Jawa Tengah.

“Total ada 78. Ada 32 bayi berumur kurang dari satu tahun. Lalu anak-anak usia satu tahun sampai sekolah dasar ada 27 orang. Sisanya orang dewasa,” Rois merinci jumlah penghuni panti asuhannya kepada DW Indonesia.

Pria kelahiran Probolinggo, Jawa Timur, ini menerawangkan mata sembari mengingat perjalanan awal panti ini pada Januari 2012 silam. Saat itu Rois dan beberapa pendiri awal panti, termasuk istrinya, merasa perlu melakukan aksi nyata untuk generasi muda.

Rois dan pendiri awal sepakat membiayai pendidikan anak-anak jalanan yang dibina di Dinas Sosial Kota Semarang. Tidak mudah, karena anak-anak sudah mengenal konsep uang sejak dini. Banyak dari anak-anak tersebut yang tidak melanjutkan sekolah dan kembali ke jalan mencari uang dengan meminta-minta.
Berangkat dari keprihatinan

Rois menuturkan kepada DW Indonesia bahwa mental mengemis yang ada di lingkungannya harus diubah. “Orang lumpuh, ngemis. Orang buta, ngemis. Mental ngemis ini harus dibongkar,” tegas Rois.

Panti Asuhan Manarul Mabrul mengajarkan filosofi kemandirian kepada penghuninya. Bahkan, sejak awal berdiri hingga hari ini, Rois mengatakan tidak pernah mencari donatur untuk menyumbang atau menulis proposal pengajuan bantuan.

Atas prinsip itu, panti asuhan seluas 2.400 meter persegi ini tidak sanggup menggaji karyawan. Semua kegiatan operasional sehari-hari dikerjakan oleh Rois yang dibantu oleh istri dan anak perempuannya, Linda.

“Sampai hari ini (saya) tidak pernah ajak orang untuk bergabung. Lha wong (karena) saya tidak bisa nggaji (membayar) mereka,” kata Rois.

Dia menambahkan banyak orang yang skeptis akan kesanggupan Rois menjalankan panti asuhan tanpa dukungan dana. “Oleh karena itu, jadikan sanggup dari hal-hal yang tidak sanggup. Orang sibuk dengan urusan perut. Ini urusan hati,” ujar Rois.

Kemandirian menjadi elemen penting di panti ini. Rois tidak ingin anak-anak asuhnya mengharapkan belas kasih dari seseorang. Sebagai contoh, anak-anak dibiasakan mencuci sendiri pakaian mereka karena keterbatasan tenaga pengasuh di panti ini.

Selain kemandirian di rumah, anak asuh pun diajarkan berbagai macam keterampilan yang bisa berguna bagi hidup mereka. Bahkan, Rois menambahkan, banyak orang-orang baik di sekitar Semarang yang kemudian tergerak untuk berkunjung menawarkan pelatihan kemampuan dasar bekerja. Anak-anak yang lebih besar di panti itu bahkan menguasai beragam keterampilan teknis seperti bartender, barista, sablon, mesin, las, dan mengukir relief, kata Rois dengan penuh rasa bangga.

Walaupun lahir di luar pernikahan, anak-anak tersebut tetap mendapatkan hak yang sama sebagai warga negara Indonesia, ucap Rois.
Upayakan akta kelahiran buat “Soekarno”

Di panti itu Rois hadir sebagai sosok ayah bagi anak-anak asuhnya yang kebayakan lahir di luar ikatan pernikahan. Dirinya memberikan perlakuan yang sama kepada seluruh anak asuh termasuk sejumlah ibu hamil yang juga tinggal di sana.

Pasal 43 ayat 1 Undang Undang nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan menyebutkan bahwa anak yang dilahirkan di luar perkawinan hanya mempunyai hubungan perdata dengan ibunya dan keluarga ibunya.

Dokumen kewarganegaraan terutama akta kelahiran menjadi bukti otentik yang krusial bagi seseorang untuk dapat mendapatkan hak-hak sebagai warga negara Indonesia. Namun terkadang proses mendapatkan dokumen ini tidak mudah bagi anak yang lahir di luar pernikahan. Rois mencari solusi jangka panjang untuk menyikapi hal tersebut.

“Kalo orang tuanya adalah mahasiswa, kan mereka udah punya KTP. Nah anaknya tetap bisa memiliki akta kelahiran. Tapi hanya tertera nama si ibu. Nama ayah tidak ada. Si anak akan ikut di Kartu Keluarga (KK) ibunya,” papar Rois.

Sedangkan bagi orang tua yang belum punya KTP, Rois melanjutkan, si anak tetap bisa memiliki akta kelahiran namun tidak ada nama di kolom ayah dan ibunya. Anak tersebut akan menyandang status anak asuh di KK milik Rois.

Rois pun turut memberi nama bagi bayi-bayi tersebut atas persetujuan orang tuanya. Dia mengambil inspirasi nama-nama tersebut dari tokoh pewayangan Jawa, tokoh nasional, dan nama artis.

“Lho saya itu sampai kehabisan ide untuk ngasih nama anak. Ya sudah saya kasih nama yang mudah diingat misalnya Soekarno, Elvi Sukaesih,” kata Rois tergelak.

Ia bercita-cita ingin menyekolahkan seluruh anak-anak asuhnya sampai jenjang S2 dengan biaya sendiri. Sampai hari ini, Rois sudah berhasil mengantarkan dua anak asuhnya menyandang gelar sarjana dan empat lainnya telah menyelesaikan pendidikan D3.
Bukan untuk diadopsi

Aroma minyak kayu putih dan minyak telon menyeruak memenuhi rongga hidung saat DW Indonesia memasuki ruangan bayi. Jeritan tangis dan gelak tawa bayi bercampur menjadi satu di ruangan itu. Bahkan ada bayi yang masih berusia beberapa hari, terlihat dari warna kulit yang masih merah.

“Saya melarang pihak luar mengadopsi anak-anak tersebut. Para orang tua menitipkan dan akan mengambil kembali anaknya. Itu amanah yang harus saya jaga,” kata Rois yang kerap dipanggil abi oleh anak-anak asuhnya.

Bayi-bayi tersebut sebagian besar adalah hasil dari hubungan badan di luar pernikahan yang dilakukan orang tua mereka yang masih duduk di bangku perkuliahan, kata Rois. Malah ada juga bayi-bayi dari hubungan seks tidak sah dilakukan oleh pelajar yang masih duduk di bangku sekolah menengah atas (SMA), bahkan menengah pertama (SMP), menurut Rois.
Data Kementerian Kesehatan dan Komnas Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) pada tahun 2019 mengungkapkan bahwa sekitar sebesar 62,7% remaja di Indonesia pernah melakukan hubungan seks di luar nikah.

Lebih lanjut, penelitian kolaborasi antara Badan Perencanaan Daerah (Bappeda) Kota Semarang dan Universitas Negeri Semarang pada tahun 2019 menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 90% pelaku pernikahan dini adalah pelaku seks bebas dan 83,88% menikah karena hamil di luar nikah di kota Semarang.
Lindungi ibu hamil dari stigma

Panti Asuhan Manarul Mabrur juga menyediakan ruangan khusus untuk ibu hamil. Saat ini ada 13 ibu hamil yang sedang menunggu waktu untuk melahirkan.
“Mereka datang ke sini dalam kondisi hamil. Di sini mereka menyembunyikan diri dari masyarakat karena malu,” ujar Rois dengan nada prihatin.

“Kalau si ibu hamil datang sendirian tanpa laki-laki, saya yang membiayai proses melahirkan. Sedangkan kalau laki-lakinya ikut datang, saya meminta si laki laki untuk patungan,” ujar Rois.

Tidak jarang ibu-ibu yang sudah melahirkan akan menitipkan anaknya di panti naungan Rois. Mereka akan kembali ke panti dan mengambil anaknya di saat mereka sudah siap. Baik sudah lulus pendidikan, menikah secara sah, atau memiliki pekerjaan yang dapat menghidupi sang anak.
